Giant Colon Replica Educates Arkansans

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) � A 40-foot-long replica of the human colon is winding its way through Little Rock to educate people on the dangers of colon cancer.

 

(ap) - William the Liar is back in his home state again?  I don't know why the AP is using this pet name game with him and not just saying that he is back home for some reason?... OK, I will take my tongue out of my cheek now kids!  This is an interesting story for the AP to cover.  Do you think that a pair of gigantic breasts with hands to match checking for lumps would have been entertained by the makers of this giant colon? - tha malcontent)

The "Colossal Colon" is designed for children and adults to crawl through, and allows visitors to see different stages of the disease, from polyps to full-blown cancer.

 

(My idea would be called the "Bodacious Boobs"!... Or how about a giant penis and vagina with Herpes that children and adults could crawl through and climb on, and allows visitors to see the different stages of the disease... Seriously people, this is absurdity illustrated by the absurd! - tha malcontent)

Part of the National Cancer Education Tour, the exhibit was created in honor of Amanda Sherwood Roberts, who died from the disease last year.

Organizers hope that the exhibit will get people thinking about a part of the body that is usually not discussed.

 

(Maybe if Clinton would have put his cigar in a different orifice... OK, OK, I won't go there! - tha malcontent)

"We're trying to educate as many people as we can so nobody has to go through what we had to go through," said Amanda's father, Bernie Sherwood.
