White House: Guard Never Disciplined Bush

WASHINGTON (AP) President Bush never was disciplined while serving in the Texas Air National Guard, never failed a physical and never asked his father or family friends for help to get him into the Guard during the Vietnam War, the White House said Wednesday.

(ap) - There seem to be some interesting Facts that the "Free Press" has conveniently Ignored, or buried, as with this Fact... "Bush was never disciplined while serving".  It's funny how the AP and their Minions have created a False Perception to the Contrary, simply by Omitting that Fact, and focusing on his "Flight Status".  As this story illustrates, and the AP cannot Refute, Lt. Bush's Flight Status was grounded due to his missing a Physical, which he did Deliberately as that he was not seeking a Career as a Military Pilot, and chose to finish his Service out on the Ground.  He gained the points needed for his Guard Service to earn an Honorable Discharge, but to listen to the "Free Press" , "he did not show up for periods of time"... This is Irrelevant, because he did not have to do anything but show up enough to get at least 50 points, and he did.  He was never disciplined, and he never missed a physical, and the "Free Press" has known this all along.  This was an Orchestrated attempt by the "Free Press" to revive a story they vetted years ago as being bunk, in an attempt to contrast Kerry as a War Hero, and Bush (43) as a War Dodger... It blew up in their faces when Rather (D) was caught fronting Forged Documents and his Producer was putting his Proven Liar Sources in contact with Kerry Advisors, namely, Joe Lockhart, while the Kerry camp was Conveniently Parroting this same story with their various Attack Vehicles.  Anyway, this should be about the end of this Patently Dishonest Campaign.  Feel free to read along as the AP takes it's parting shots at the President, in a Bitter fashion that only they can pull off! - tha malcontent)

Meanwhile, the White House on Wednesday night produced a newly unearthed document on Bush's Guard service, seven months after it said all materials on the subject had been publicly released.

("7 MONTHS"?!?!?!... Start Impeachment proceedings now! - tha malcontent)

The new document was a copy of Bush's resignation in 1974 declaring he was leaving the Guard because of "inadequate time to fulfill possible future commitments." White House spokesman Scott McClellan said the resignation was found in connection with a lawsuit brought by The Associated Press.

(Has the AP sued for the full release of Kerry's records?... No, of course they have not.  Kerry, unlike Bush (43), has yet to sign a Form 180 releasing all of his Records... Interesting FACT that the AP does not care to share with you, as that they are rooting for Kerry, much as they did in 2000 when they just happened to forget that Florida had two time zones, and the time zone that was still Voting, just happened to be the Conservative one, and they called Florida for Algore Junior anyway, then predicted that the loss of Florida would be the loss of the Election for Bush (43)... Don't ever forget that.  Don't even get me started on the DUI story they just happened upon 24 YEARS (not "7 months") after the DUI happened, and they just happened to go to print with it the Thursday before Election Tuesday in 2000.  Coincidence?... I don't think so! - tha malcontent)

The White House answers earlier in the day came in response to a dozen questions submitted by the AP in light of new records detailing Bush's Guard service and allegations that have surfaced this election season.

(Not "surfaced", AP, but "re-Surfaced"... You Bastards tried to get Bush (43) with this story in 1994, 1998, 2000 and then again starting this past February, and then you once again revived it after the VAST Majority of Kerry's Fellow Officers answered Edwards Convention call to ask them what they thought about him!... I bet it really pissed the AP off when Kerry's Equals in Viet Nam said he was a Liar, and "Unfit to Serve"... Maybe that's why they only give ink to the handful of Subordinates who work for him on his Campaign, instead of the Men who could best Judge him, his Fellow Officers and Commanders. - tha malcontent)

The Texas Air National Guard stripped Bush of his pilot status in August 1972 for failing to take the annual medical exam required of all pilots. Former Air National Guard officials say it was rare for a pilot to skip his physical exam.

(AP, is that "Official"?... They "stripped" him of his pilot status?... Methinks the AP is Editorializing the Facts as they are Documented, and they are doing it in an attempt to further Slander the President that they did not Vote for in 2000, and will not Vote for in November. - tha malcontent)

AP asked whether Bush ever participated in a disciplinary process during his Guard service, whether he ever received a critical report or was ever present for a conversation in which his performance, conduct or physical condition were raised by a superior officer.

(AP, you sued for the Documentation, did you find anything to that affect?... Apparently not.  So the next best thing is to employ a standard Liberal Attack Tactic of the "Open-ended Question".... Dishonesty Illustrated! - tha malcontent)

"No and this is clear from the president's records, which have been made public," the White House said in an e-mail response.

"No," the White House replied when asked whether Bush ever failed a medical exam in the Guard or had a medical problem that would have temporarily or permanently disqualified him from flying.

"All of these questions have been asked and answered repeatedly over the years," White House spokeswoman Claire Buchan said.

The AP filed lawsuits in federal court and state court in Texas seeking any additional records of Bush's Guard service, prompting the release in the last few months of several new records about Bush's Guard service.

Among the belatedly disclosed records was Bush's official flight logs as a fighter pilot, showing he logged more than 300 hours in military jets, flying a two-seat training jet in his final months as a pilot in the spring of 1972, as well as an F-102A supersonic fighter jet which he had flown almost exclusively for several years.

(He flew in 72?... Who knew, eh AP? - tha malcontent)

In its written answers to AP's questions, the White House said, "There could be many reasons why an individual pilot would fly in a training plane, including availability of the planes." The White House noted that in the final month of his flying, April 1972, Bush used the F-102 "almost every flight."

The White House said Bush fulfilled his Guard duty completely, even after ending his pilot's career to go to Alabama to work on a political campaign. Bush believed he was going to work in a "non-flight capacity" in Alabama and fulfilled his commitment doing administrative tasks, the White House said.

(AP, did Bush (43) accumulate the Required Points needed for his Honorable Discharge?... The Honest answer is "Yes".  What you are engaged in is FAR from Honest. - tha malcontent)

"The president's written evaluations demonstrate a good record as a pilot; the pay and points records demonstrate his complete fulfillment of his obligations; and the records demonstrate that he followed the proper procedures and worked through the chain of command to receive approval to perform equivalent duty in Alabama," the White House said.

The answers also addressed why Bush skipped a required physical in the summer of 1972, prompting the termination of his pilot status. "The president was transferring to Alabama to perform equivalent duty in a non-flying capacity, making a flight physical unnecessary," the White House said.

(I wonder why this paragraph was pushed all of the way down to where Florida DemocRATS and Dan Rather (D) would surely never read it?... - tha malcontent)

Air Force regulations in 1972 required Bush's Texas commanders to "direct an investigation as to why the individual failed to accomplish the medical examination." An investigative report was supposed to be forwarded "with the command recommendation" to Air Force officials "for final determination." The regulations also said a board of inquiry could be appointed to investigate why a pilot did not take an annual flight physical. There is no record of a report or a board of inquiry in Bush's case.

(They just will not walk away, will they.  Didn't you guys at the AP watch as this Negated Rather as a (j)ournalist a couple of weeks ago?... Let it go! - tha malcontent)

Bush's Vietnam service has been made an issue since 1994 by his Democratic opponents, who allege the president received favored treatment in getting into the Texas Air National Guard. A letter recently released by the Pentagon shows Bush's father, then a congressman, wrote a military commander to thank him for taking special interest in his son during basic training.

("Bush's Vietnam service has been made an issue since 1994 by his Democratic opponents"... In the "Free Press"!  I really don't believe that the AP cares if they appear Objective any longer. - tha malcontent)

The White House said, "The president did not ask his father or family friends for assistance" in getting into the Texas Air National Guard during the Vietnam War."

(I hope the AP is not wise enough to let this go, because the more they harp on it, the more "Viet Nam" is in the front of the Agenda this Election, and the less likely Kerry is to get even the 45.6% Dukakis got in his whipping! - tha malcontent)
