07.17.2008: Attempting to Get Milk from the Cow for Free

(ap) - As I Left my Sleeping Wife, Toddler who I put in my Place in Bed with her before I Left, and Newborn Son in the Bassinette, I was Thinking how Much I Love getting up Early and going to Work as I Visited the Corner Bodega which is Dead Center in the Hood, and Open 24/7.

The Clerk and a Customer were Making Small Talk... It was 3, 4 in the AM...

She was Expecting him to Pump her Gas... He asked me if I Thought it was a Full Service Station, Teasing her... I Told him I'd Pump my Own Gas, Thank you all the Same.

Nice Morning...

Cool... Moon was Playing with the Clouds over the Rockies...

The Door of the Bodega was Open as I Purchased a Cr�me Filled Krispy with my Gas Purchase...

Life is Good...

Even though the Milk I Purchased for my Krispy was Not.

I Wonder if the Clerk is Interested in Purchasing the Milk, or if he was Looking for it to be Free?

Multiply that by Billions, and then Billions again... And again.

So many Stories...

An Interesting Species this is.

07.10.2008 - Dah, Dah, Dah, a Dola!...

(ap) - My lil one's First Imaginary Friend is "Dola"... Now I Know some would Assume that she is just Saying "Dora" as a Toddler would, but she Knows who Dora is, and that's Not who she is Talking too... It's BEYOND Cute. About as Cute as her Telling me, "Dad!...", and I Respond, "What Sweetie?"... And she goes on to Declare that, "I have a Booger on my Sock!"... "Just Pick if off Honey!", was all I could Think to say. It was Naptime after all, and that was little More than a Ploy to Not Nap... Clever little Beast.

07.09.2008 - A Porch Skunky Situation

(ap) - So we have a Lotta Skunks in Southside East Westminster, and it Seems that another has Nested under our Front Porch... I will be Victorious... Yes... I Will.

07.08.2008 - Followed a Drunk Ice Cream Truck Driver Today!...

(ap) - I was on my Way to get a Long Overdue Service on our Minivan who's Name is "Homer", when I Noticed an Ice Cream Truck Driving as if the Driver was Drunk going Northbound on Federal here in D-Town... I was Hoping he would have an Accident NOT Involving Innocents and that his Ice Cream would Spill all over the Road so I could get a Bomb Pop... Didn't Happen.

07.06.2008 - Sandals are NOT Shoes

(ap) - As she has in the Past, my 2 Year, 8 Month Old Corrected my with Specificity Today... I Told her to Put her Shoes on and Pointed at them... She was Quite Correct in her Frustrated and Correcting Response... "Those aren't Shoes Daddy, they're Sandals".

07.05.2008 - Damn!, I Know we Left Houses here!...

(ap) - There are Currently Wasps, and by that, I do not mean White Anglo Saxons, or Sexually Perverted People, Hanging outside of our Bedroom Window Screaming, "Damn!, I Know we Left Houses here!"... That's what they get!

07.01.2008 - Damn it Daddy, you Forgot to Wipe my Butt!

(ap) - So they say Kid's say the Darnest things... I was Changing my Daughter and was Distracted Talking to my Wife and Put a New Diaper on her without Wiping her Butt... My Response out of Frustration was, Damn it, I Forgot to Wipe your Butt!"... And of course, her Response.
