A Simple Fact of Life: Barack Hussein Obama is no more Black than he is White.

^That's Obama's Momma and Poppa...

Why does he get to Claim he is Black?

His Half Black, and Half White.

Is it Better for him Politically to be One over the other?...

He's Whack... Not only by Race, but also by Political Stands.

Seriously though, why is that when someone is Half Black and Half White, they are "Black"?...

The New York Times on the Potential First "African American" President:

"But as Barack Obama, the senator from Illinois whose father is from Kenya, spends this weekend exploring a presidential bid in New Hampshire, and Hillary Rodham Clinton, the first woman to represent New York in the Senate, calls potential supporters in Iowa, the question remains: are Americans prepared to elect an African-American or a woman as president?"

Yeah, and his Mom is a White Woman from Kansas...

Why is he "African American"?...

Another Interesting Tidbit... He Grew up Primarily with his White Mother and her White Parents, and Shockingly, NOT in Africa:

Obama was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Barack Obama, Sr. (born in Nyanza Province, Kenya, of Luo ethnicity) and Ann Dunham (born in Wichita, Kansas).[9] His parents met while both were attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where his father was enrolled as a foreign student.[10] Obama's parents separated when he was two years old and later divorced.[11] His father went to Harvard University to pursue Ph.D. studies, then returned to Kenya.[12] His mother married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian foreign student, and the family moved to Jakarta in 1967.[13] Obama attended local schools in Jakarta, including Basuki school, from ages 6 to 10, where classes were taught in the Indonesian language.[14][15] He then returned to Honolulu to live with his maternal grandparents while attending Punahou School from the fifth grade until his graduation in 1979.[16] Obama's mother died of ovarian cancer a few months after the publication of his 1995 memoir, Dreams from My Father.[17]

So he's Half White, and Half Black, and he Lived Primarily a White Life in an Island Paradise with his White Grandparents from 5th Grade until Adulthood.

Honolulu isn't Exactly Watts or the Bronx...

So are the Campaign and the Media Creating a Black Candidate?...

I Think they are.

I'd Like him Better if he Didn't Attach himself to the Race he Really Didn't Experience and Act as if he has had the same Experiences that Blacks have had in Areas of the Country where Oppression and Poverty were a Plague.

It's Dishonest.
